El día 5 de mayo se celebra la liberación del campo de concentración de Mauthausen. Todos los años se repite un emocionante ritual: la delegación española dirigida por la Amical (asociación fundada por los supervivientes) hace varios homenajes en el campo de concentración. En Jerez hemos participado en la colecta para una placa en homenaje a los jerezanos que murieron en ese campo de concentración, pero por la situación actual, se aplaza su inauguración hasta nueva fecha.
